JUNGLE TARPON FISHING
One of the craziest experiences the jungle can offer is the chance to target tarpon in one of the wildest places on earth. The jungles bordering Nicaragua are a tarpon fishing mecca that boasts one of the largest concentrations of tarpon on the planet.
Here you can expect fish between 80-180lbs with fish in the 100-150lb range most common. These trips are offered in the months of SEPT-OCT and APRIL-MAY only.

Typically fishermen go 2 anglers per boat.
Maximum group size is 8 Anglers
Tarpon fishing is fly fishing only (you must bring your own gear as rods/reels are not provided).
Our favorite flies for the tarpon can be provide for your trip upon request (adequate notice must be given).
Tours are guided by local boat captains we trust in Barra del Colorado near the Nicaraguan border. A member of the 506 Outdoors Crew will accompany the group from San Jose and be with them the entire time to ensure a smooth journey.
Lodging is included, as well as 3 full meals per day.
Air conditioned rooms are included.
